Thanks to all my friends at E.P. Rayzor School in Denton, Texas. I visited their school on March 2, 2006. It was a fantastic day (around 90 degrees also) and the kids and staff could not have been nicer and more well prepared. They did some great projects leading up to my visit and even used my motto: "Work hard, Play hard" in their own work. Next year they have my friend, author, Jerry Pallotta visiting. Have fun!

I frequently make visits
to school across the nation to speak with students and teachers about my
life, including my educational experiences from elementary school through
college and how I create an illustration. I highly stress reading and
research skills, show examples of my original artwork, discuss the printing
process, as well as letting the audience in on some hidden secrets and
personal connections with my pictures. New and upcoming books are previewed.
A drawing demonstration and question and answer period follows.
Presentations may be geared
to any size or age group.
